This project takes advantage of an oddly-shaped south-facing site on the bank of the Dodder River. The house form re-orientates the orthogonality of the original semi-d to address the southwest and the main area of garden in this direction. Upstairs, the rooms are extended with full-height glazing, giving uninterrupted views over the densely wooded river valley.

A series of custom-made natural aluminium pressings adopt the language of the large glazed sliding elements and extend this to an articulated design of parapets, openings and cills.
